Last summer, some of my classmates and I flew out to Toronto to attend the Dietitians of Canada Conference. While we were there, we had lunch downtown at a place called Bannock. It was a while ago, so I don’t remember much about the food except that it was really good! The menu was unique, the environment was nice, and the food was fresh and beautifully presented.
We ordered the free-run turkey burger (tempura onion, avocado, dill pickle mayo), the veggie bannock (portobello mushroom, marinated peppers, roma eggplant, comfort cream), the bannock bannock (house-smoked salmon, onion, cumin, capers, cream cheese), and the vegetarian cobb salad.
We sat on the patio, had some drinks, and I left the restaurant satisfied and with sunburnt shoulders.
